Hi folks,
I have a batch of RI reds & White rocks ...6 each 7 weeks old...the white rocks are very aggressive with me and the reds ... Is this a breed trait .... Or did I just get lucky?
TIA
Bruce

Not a breed trait at all. How much space do you have for them, and where did they come from? and pics are always good...

Sorry just getting back to you...after you posted I doubled the brooder space and grow out pen and they settled down, seems to have been a space issue...thx

Glad they are settling down. I've never had White Rocks, but I've had both Barred Rocks and Rhode Island Reds and have occasionally had an aggressive RIR (which had to be culled out of the flock), even with adequate space. The Barred Rocks have generally been a more docile breed and only very rarely did I have an aggressive one.
