Symbolic revenge! My rooster is sweet, but he does attack us once in awhile, he is unpredictable and we watch out whenever he is near. We do not eat chickens as we learned more about chickens over the year. Whenever he attacked one of us, we have KFC.
I don't recall any mention of a 2nd rooster dominating Luna.So has Luna quit attacking you?UPDATE. I got rid of the rooster that took over luna's dominance and he is now standing next to us when we go outside. he is protecting us now. we are in his clan now.
I think he may still eventually try to attack you...it isn't wise to be followed by any animal, especially a rooster. You don't know what they're planning (literally) behind your back.yes. we are now in the luna clan. every time me or my mom go outside he comes up to us and follows us. not to attack but to protect.
thank youI think he may still eventually try to attack you...it isn't wise to be followed by any animal, especially a rooster. You don't know what they're planning (literally) behind your back.
I have a rooster who would attack us. Like you, I chose not to cull so I made him a smaller separate coop and attached run. He lives there with a few of his favorite hens (who like him equally in return). It's built in such a way that I never have to walk in to take care of them. This way, we can enjoy his lovely plumage without constantly worrying about an attack.
I hope you get everything settled satisfactorily between you and Luna without either of you getting injured (especially you).
