I recently purchased a new adult male pigeons it is just a mix breed but it is not getting on well with the rest of my birds it is actually very mean to them and sits alone time i let them into the run to fly. any reason he may act this way or if i can help him?

He is new to your flock and has not established himself in the pecking order - yes, pigeons have a pecking order too. Did you quarantine him before putting him with your birds?

No, i wasnt actually expecting to purchase him but then i was talked into it and where they where housed was extreamly clean and sanitary (as is mine) so i didnt think he would get sick or anything along those lines but it seems as tho some of my females have taken to him but he just pecks and swats them away.
