AH! First hatch! First 17 are hatching! *help please pg 14*

I'm hatching one lonely little egg. My D'Uccle decided to claim an egg and it's been 2 days now putting estimated hatching at July 2nd. I'm new to chickens this spring, I got this pair or tri (I have another hen) from a friend. I didnt plan on hatching until next spring but she looked in love with this little egg, I didnt have the heart to take it away.

This is my second try. I have a mix of 6 bantams (silkies, Mille Fleur & Red Pyle) and 21 mystery eggs (barred rock, orps, americana, ???) due July 1st and 2nd. After the first time I have been a nervous wreck keeping an eagle eye on the temps and humidity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

that this hatch will turn out otherwise

Oh my gosh guys! I quickly candled a minorca egg (you can see the convincing myself I'll kill them is only half working) and I saw VEINS! No very well, more like darker lines, since I think the light isn't *quite* bright enough, but I saw them! Now after seeing that, if we don't get any hatches I'll just die!
Florida, I only have like 3 of our eggs in there and I'm slightly doubtful they will hatch... We have BIG hens and a bantam roo.... But it could happen.
Amy, last year the same thing happened. We were just going to let a broody GLW hatch 2 eggs and then I think 1 turned out to be infertile. Watch out for other hens though! Because our stupid egg eater (gone now) stepped on the other and there was a baby! SO close too! I hope yours turns out better!
ChickieWoo, what are your temps and humidity?

I shall join in. I have 28 in now in my 1588 some to hatchat end of month other to hatch July 1 and 2. This is my second batch this year. Pictures of first batch are on my chickens blog.

Nice hatch! I can't wait to see what comes out of these (I would be thrilled if we get 33 since the three of ours I'm unsure about). The colors should be crazy!

I'm using 3 different kinds of thermometers. I have a fish tank and regular in/out therm. that reads 98 - 100 with humidity around 30 - 40. Then I have a digital one that reads 99 - 102 with humidity at 20 - 30.

On my first try I had a bad thermometer that was really off, so I cooked them.

This will just kill me if I lose this group also.
