Ahh! A chick is hatching!!

One of my chicks in the incubator just showed a small hole/pip!!! It is a semi-small egg and she hasn't shown a beak yet... but watching the egg like a hawk(though i'm not hankering for it lol)! Should I be ready to interfere? This is my first time hatching and I don't think I have the experience - but I don't want to lose her! What should i do? I'm a nervous wreck!!!

https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/guide-to-assisted-hatching-for-all-poultry.72886/ I read this article on assisted hatching . I wouldn’t worry too much tho the bird could be taking a nap break

A pip in the egg is just the beginning of a hatch. Even though they pipped they are still absorbing the contents of the egg. Once they get air they can finish absorbing. 24 hrs or longer. Sit on your hands.
