has anyone ever used the excuse "my dog ate my homework"??

well.. my duck ate mine HAHAHA. he did. he was sitting right here chewing on my paper and my book and ripped my paper lol. good thing it's only a cheat sheet for my midterm tomorrow, but i thought it was funny. who else can use that excuse?? well besides us.. ducks aren't common by my house. infact i get strange faces as a reaction when i tell people i have duckies.

especially when they find out they are in my room

Saturday our ducks kept my husband distracted while he was trying to study outside in the sunshine. They NEEDED to be on whatever paper he was writing on:lol: . Needless to say he didn't get much studying done with all the cuteness to distract him

He is just lucky one of them didn't leave a wet, stinky mark on his books.

lol my dad had a goat. he said he'd never have another one cuz it ate EVERYTHING, even the rope that was supposed to keep him tied up lol. so now i can't have one

lol suburbanduckmom.. i have a cat who likes to lay on paper, soo she wasn't here with me lol. the ducks however aren't usually starving for attention. i thought they came over to help. they seem to be computer savy and i was making my cheat sheet for my computer midterm lol

lol he is lucky!! i had my first bunny, 2 years ago she was a baby and i was in a math class.. she peed in my book, now this time my new bunny peed in my rented anthropology book.. hahaha OOOPS

Your Duckie sure is a character...

I dont recall an animal ever eating my homework...but I know a few ducklings over the years have pooped on my daughters.

duckie is nuts. i think he fell down the stairs again, but now i can hear him eating cat food hahaha. silly boy.. hahahaha

uhh i haven't had the duckling poo on my homework experience yet

I have heard all sort of excuses, but haven't heard that one yet. It usually has something to do with a little sister or brother, or of course the dog. Maybe my ducks will eat some of these papers so I don't have to grade them all. : )

Yep - sometimes people don't understand loving ducks..... my colleagues all think I am a little touched I'm afraid. I was talking about getting a rocking chair, so I could rock my ducks - a couple of friends said it is okay if you tell us that cause we understand, but don't say that to anyone else or they will think you are nuts. Well maybe I am - but I sure get a lot of enjoyment from the little fluffy guys. They are sweet!!!

I actually had a cat eat my homework once. Teacher did not believe me.

But I was notorious for not doing my homework anyways. lol
To bad for my kids all the animals are outside but the dogs.

tia.. if you're nuts then we are all nuts! lol. i say that people who don't love ducks as much as we do are nuts!!! we aren't the odd ones.. they are! lol

sounds good to me. i don't understand how you couldn't fall in love with them!!

goat_walker.. if my duck ate my chem homework, i'd be amazed that i actually did the chem homework and not so worried about the duck :lol i am really stupid when it comes to science. in high school i took it and i shouldn't have passed.. but i had a teacher who was sooo nice and just filled in random grades cuz he knew i didn't understand it at all!!! so the next semester i took earth science haha and all we did in class was mess with the teacher.. good times. (the teacher belonged in the looney bin!)

crazyland, i was notorious for not doing homework in high school, cuz i never went. lol. partly cuz i hated it and partly because i'd get a lot of headaches and i had other bodily issues too lol but i never used any hw excuses lol. i guess the duck ate my homework might not fly in high school hahaha. i went to school only 3 full weeks the whole year of my senior year and graduated with a's and b's that is one of my greatest accomplishments in live.. the second is raising such AWESOME ducks!!!
