I have the same problem and now that it isn't raining I just have nubs.

I love that my "girls" all free range...there is no off limits areas for them except the vegetable garden-even my flower beds are open to them- mostly-any plants/flowers that i really enjoy, i place a wire cage made of cattle fencing around to prevent destruction from my girls. Its a win win for us.I'm going to have no hostas this year apparently.is there any way at all to keep them from eating them short of locking them up and not letting them out ever? I dont want to do that... or do I just suck it up and realize I'll never have hostas again.![]()
