AHHH! I heard a peep!

It is almost day 20 and I saw no visible pip on any of the eggs but I did hear a very distinct "peep,peep!". How long does it take them from that "peep,peep" inside the egg, until they hatch?! It is 9:20pm now. Will it be out by morning? Gonna be a looooong night! EEK! Sooooo excited!

I think I saw somewhere within 24 hours??? But not really sure...

You heard the peeping b/c it has internally pipped into the air sac. The 24 hour rule is for external pipping but my guess would be the same that it will externally pip with in a 24 hour period and then hatch with in another 24 hours my guess is the hatching won't take that long

How exciting! I never get tired of hearing that first peep peep! You should have fuzzy butts in there soon! My current hatch isn't due until April 4-5. It seems like that 3 weeks from set to hatch takes FOREVER.
