As a somewhat newbie, old hat by osmosis to Ruth; the picnic table and thoughts of cooler surroundings are refreshing. Today was a 2 shirt day, meaing that I soaked two shirts with MS atmospheric dew and then gave up on the shirt approach for the day. It is so muggy tonight the bats on the outside porch are using windshield wipers to see.

It's a pleasure finding a gentle thread to respond to.

It was a mere 109 degrees here today in Arizona...aaahhh nothing like a blast from the oven when you walk outside.

Looks wonderful. We also had that fresh breeze of coolness this AM, but by this afternoon, it was hot again, but I can't complain it's almost July in TX. Glad you had a good day in your "outside sanctuary" with a view of the flock.

Well, it continued overnight. This a.m., I woke to 55 degrees! It was 10 degrees cooler than the last few weeks. Oh, yeah, I can deal with this!
