Alot of ppl in Florida dont use any water b/c its so humid thereNow Im in day 7 so lets hope 4 the best I don't have a dehumidifier my incubator has only a teaspoon of water and humidity keeps reading 64% 65% the humidity outside today is 91% gosh Florida...
I would take that teaspoon out if its still in there..
PM Brookhaven shes helpful and she lives there too and has had lots of hatches she can help better than i. Here we have to raise it and add all the time.

Are you sure your humidity gauge is right?Do you have another to check with? .
65 until lockdown (day 18) is too high They can drowned or be gooey id in thatr humidity the whole 18 days
Aim for 45-50
65 at lock is fine
The spikes.... you might consider putting some rocks in there as heat sincs. (Wash them well first) I havent used that but they say it levels out your temps as the rocks hold the heat .If it doesnt drop so much maybe it wont turn on and get so high whne opening
