Oh, this has a happy ending. I called the lady who was on my waiting list, and she wanted the chickens. She said she'd come by today!! at 4:30 to get them. Guess what! She was here at 4:30 to get the chickens.
Not only that, but she called me back to ask what I had been doing for the chicks up to this point, because she didn't want to change their routine too much right off. Huh?
Some body who cares about these little girls? Well, I told her and got everything set up for them and came and got them.
Come to find out, she's worked for a vet. Wow! Somebody might take good care of them. I'm so relieved. I'll sleep well tonight. However, the brooder coop looks so quiet, dark and cold. Just is such a sad sight.
Just a few days ago it was full of fun and activity. Well, Spring is coming and I do have some RIR's in the bator
