Hi all, we are trying to come up with a coop design that will suit us for a while, and how to build it with what we have/can get for cheap or free. Our winters are mild, and the lowest it has gotten in the past 80 years was this last winter when it was 3 Fahrenheit, one day. We have a large run, and should only ever have 10 chickens, and we will have them for laying. I don't know if I should have the whole thing however many feet off the ground, or exactly how big it needs to be. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Here are the pictures of our chicks in our house atm, and their run. Plan is to put the back wall against the freestanding garage, and I got a post hole digger borrowed, for a post to support a door into the run, and two other supports for the coop, 4"x4"x8'.
