Air bubble in neck, please help

Thanks. Yes, that does seem like what it is. This is a bantam chick so I’m not sure what meds to give and how much...

I am not sure either! I'm sorry, but there are lots of threads on BYC about sour crop and how to treat it. At the top of the website you will see a search option that will let you search within BYC.

Hi. I noticed that my son’s three month old chicken was lethargic yesterday. Today I held it and there is an enormous air pocket in its neck. Can anyone please advise? Thank you!
Your chicken needs grit! That's what happened when we owned chickens without experience. The grit helps the chicken digest its food otherwise without the great can't if your chicken already has grit then I have no clue why that is happening and it should go to a vet or be put down.

Hi. I assumed the chicks were getting grit off the gravel and dirt floor from the enclosed carport, but got store bought git this afternoon just in case. Actually, a lot of them seem like they had puffed crops this evening which leads me to wonder what they should feel like. I’ll check them in the morning to see if they’re empty. I also put apple cider vinegar in the water. There is no foul smell. I pray this little guy makes it as it’s my son’s favorite of the chicks from his beloved rooster that was taken by a predator. Ugh. Do you suggest anything else? I bought Monistat in case it starts smelling, although I have no idea of how much I should give. Thank you.
