Exactly what the title says, collected some more eggs today to make up for the losses during the power outage, and out of a dozen one of the green eggs had a teensy little chip at the pointed end so I put candle wax over it and now its in the incubator. But when I candled it I noticed the air cell is located at the small end! It's not moving around its definitely stuck there but...how is the chick gonna hatch? Should I toss it before it even starts developing or assist it on hatching day?

I had the same thing happen to my very first egg to hatch, an Olive Egger. By the time I realized it, it was too late to do anything. I was so.. scared when that egg pipped, I don't think I left it for the duration. I made sure the pip was pointing up, and even when he started turning in there and the egg would go sideways, I would point it back up. He hatched normally. I've also had 2 eggs pipped in the center far from the air sac, and they both made it.
