Air cell on side of eggs

If they are not turned much then yes, the air cell can shift.

I would think that this only would happen with a defective membrane?

I have had older eggs that were sitting on their sides have the air cell shift.

So, the eggs started out good, but they sit motionless less too long.

But really... I need to try that again and take notes and see at exactly what point what happens.
