Hi there. This is my first hatch and I’m wondering if my duck egg air cell sizes are too small... They’re at day 22. Humidity has been around 50% and they are getting misted once a day. Any advice would be great!!

They are a little small from what I can see. I would let your humidity drop and not add any water until lock down in a few days or until you see an external pip to give the eggs a chance to loose a little moisture.

You really want your eggs to be where it is for day 21 or lower. I would just do the misting and leave your incubator mostly dry at this point.

Hi I have duck eggs that have small Air cells too and my humidity is at 38 and I am on day 8 today I believe....so how do I make them bigger if I already have low humidity?

Where I live I have to keep my eggs at 60-65% humidity and then 75% during lockdown.

The air cell looks pretty good- did you calibrate your thermometer and hydrometer?

How do I calibrate my hydrometer? Know how to do a thermometer but I don’t know how to do hydrometer

Don’t have a waterproof hydrometer. It’s a thermometer and hydrometer
