Hello everyone,

I need some incubating tips from someone with experience/knowledge!

I am on day 20, I had two chicks hatch already out of the 8 I put in for lockdown 2/6 Silkies the other 2 eggs are EE mix. They hatched this morning and no signs of any other pips so I pulled them out.

Now question, when I pulled them out I quickly candled and I saw movement still in the remaining 6 and took some pics of the air sacs so you guys could help me access.

Humidity during the first 18 days was around 40-55%- could not control very well due to our humid temps here in Ontario. I have two tested hygrometers I rotated once to ensure they were similar temp/humidity.
Temperature has been a steady 99-100.4. Small fluctuations for whatever reason for a few hours here and there.

Humidity has been holding around 70-74% I noticed it increased when the first two chicks hatched. Should I try to get that down? I heard silkie eggs can be tough for the little buggers.

Is it weird that I am wondering why the other 6 aren't even pipping yet?
This is my first time incubating PS!

Thanks for your help. Here are the pics!
Egg 1 (pics 1-2) I just noticed you can see I was prepared with q-tips and warm water for baby 1 that popped out and took 16 hours to start zip!

Not sure what is going on, but those eggs have several days to go before they will hatch. Veining indicates that.
All of them or just the last 3 photos, I noticed on the EE cross the veining is much more significant than the others as well as a few silkies...they were collected different days but all started incubation on same day.

i wouldnt mess with them yet , humidity should be high at this point like 75+ .. its hard to know where your at with a hatch sometimes, they can delay and restart and hatch several days late sometimes, but those look good to me ... when theyre 'almost' ready you'll hear them if its quiet, until then dont try to do anything theres nothing you can do that wont hurt them ... after you can hear them thats when to keep a close eye .. you dont want to jump the gun but a good rule of thumb is if you see theyve pushed all the way into the end and theres no pip AND you can hear them 'then' you probably need to help get them out .. if it goes to that i'd ask again and get an expert to talk you through how to do it which i aint ....

If your incubator has hot/cold spots, or some of the eggs were older, you could have various hatching times. Some chicks just take longer than others, too. I agree with sour, those eggs aren’t ready to go yet. Pop them back in and leave them be. :)
I know my one janoel 12 incubator has a really bad cold spot directly under the fan, and I have to rotate eggs through or keep them out of that spot or else that egg can be a day or longer past everyone else in hatching. Took a bit of time to figure out what the problem was, but easy to get around it now. :)

I was just replying to @mcdze that maybe my incubator has those weird spots. When I was putting them into lockdown I candled as I switched over and I noticed the one that hatched first almost looked like a beak was up towards the air sac. It ended up hatching day 20 early AM.
