i have a hen who’s crop keeps filling with air. with a little pressure i can ‘burp’ it out of her. she’s not leaking fluid, or boggy, just airy. she seems to feel better after i do that but it doesn’t last long

she wants to eat and has a few bites of egg or seeds but it’s like she sucks in air and fills up again.

i assume she’s uncomfortable because then she stops eating. has anyone dealt with this before ?

i don’t think it’s a ruptured air sac or sour crop. i’m pretty much hand feeding her right

she’s not pooping much, but her intake isn’t much either. she is drinking lots though

i will start with miconazole. should i do 1” cream 3 x a day ?
Re-read the article.

"""Measure a quarter inch of suppository or about half an inch of cream and give orally twice a day for seven days. Do not stop treatment before the full seven days are completed or the yeast may return."""
