Hi!

I'm currently incubating 12 eggs, some white eggs (from mosaic chickens), some blue eggs (wheaten ameraucana) and some brown eggs (red hen with legbar roo).

The air pockets on the white and blue eggs are growing about the same. On the brown eggs... they're suuuuuper tiny. Is it normal to have such difference with the brown eggs? Should I do anything or just "hope for the best"?

There is 8 days left to the incubation.

@Ryguy3684 Humidity is set 30-35%, I don't mark the egg sacks. However, the white and blue eggs are normal near day 14 size. The brown ones only are like, day 7 or even smaller. There is currently alive embryo in those eggs (saw they moving around).

I think you just have to hope for the best. Hopefully, when you candle before lockdown, the brown eggs will have grown a decent amount. I have 20 in the incubator now and the difference between days 14 and 18 was the biggest growth for most of them. With the humidity that low already, I don't think there's much else that can get done. Good luck and happy hatching.
