I'm somewhat confused about ventilation in my Genesis.
The only vent I'm aware of is the one which is on top and has a red plug in it. The directions indicate that this should be removed for hatching at high altitudes.
I left it in during my first hatch, which seemed to me to be pretty good. As far as I can tell I only lost one egg (okay, there only were 10 in there) that mighta/shoulda hatched.
Still, now I have a tube running through that hole and directly to the water troughs at the bottom so that I can keep the humidity even better regulated and not have to take the top of.
So, if anything I have a bit more ventilation than last time. But, still....aren't there other vents? If not, what's the plan for getting enough ventilation? Is it that the styrofoam breathes some? Or....can I just not find the silly things?????
Thanks for your help.
