Don't be surprised about the tail. Someone cut it off with a zip tie or something. When we got him he would cry over it. That it was gone not in pain I mean. Trying to download photo keeps being dumb. I cook their food from scratch. Make their jerky treats even cookies.

That is horrible, what a monster! Jake was shaken by someone as a pup, so he technically had shaken puppy syndrome.

Would you be willing to share a recipe or two?

Mine lives off biscuits. He's very stubborn but if you have a biscuit in your hand he'll do whatever you want. I didn't think Akita's could live that old.
