Well I've been back and forth with allaboutdemchicks and it seems it will be too late to change plans.

We're coming the 24th through the 3rd. into Birmingham.

Bringing Del eggs and perhaps some bantam rosecomb brown leghorns if someone wants to connect in Millbrook.

Due to the cost change to switch dates it's actually just as cheap to fly down in April for the show then. It means two trips but such is life. I expect the weather will be nice too.

So that's it. Allaboutdemchicks you call me and we can get together.

I'll still bring eggs and if no one wants them we'll have nice breakfast. I'll post when I get there.

I Need to find new homes for my extra Muscovy drakes and one mutt buck rabbit. The rabbit is a sweetie though can be stubborn and the ducks are fat and healthy and are trained to come to a whistle. Im asking $10 each, anyone interested? The scovies are 6 months old.

Im in Montgomery but can meet up in Selma, Wetumpka, Prattville, troy, or millbrook. Or the Santuck fleamarket in March.

Just got off the phone with DIL and you've got some nice weather. It was in the 20's here today, brrrr. Can't wait for some warmth. I think DW is getting excited she's out shopping for new clothes. She keeps telling everyone I may not come back and she's right. Can't take to much more of this snow.

DD in TX calls everyday and she keeps saying Dad we're all set for you. Even though the baby doesn't come til June. She must really be homesick if she wants me to come. She's real close to her mother. Calls sometimes three times a day. Keeps bragging about the weather and how she has breakfast on the balcony. She'll be sorry if I sell everything and move to TX.

Well I'm sorry to hear that. I'm leaving tomorrow and there's a girl up here who might have been willing to sell you some BCM eggs to hatch. Her names Muggs/ something or other. She's on the NY posting. Now I hope to bring back some eggs from AL and I'm bringing some Del eggs for allaboutdemchicks. Don't have any Amer's but hope to when I come down in April. Good Lord Willing. Probably Lavender Amer/ EE crosses though. Not into Amers'. Like them but can't keep all the roos and hens I need to breed them too.

Up here you gotta get ready for winter and survive til spring. I can't wait.

I posted before if anyone had anything they wanted me to bring down I would. Sorry you missed it. Maybe in April.

Ok so I"m here and met allabout... She's super nice and DW and the kids had a nice time. Have to say my GD got up the first morning and saw me and said hi, but where are your chickens? Her b-day is today she's three. She loves chickens. So when we went to the Farm she was in heaven. Silkies and RIR and Del and Orps.

So needless to say it made everyones day. I will say this, one thing I like here is folks are so nice. Not like in NY. My bro in NC said the same thing. Well some folks are nice in NY like Trylin and others. Still everyone in the Winn Dixie greet you with hi, how are you? I thought that was nice.

Lord have mercy , it snowed in NY 6-8 inches or something yesterday. DD says you can't see across the street. I'm not looking forward to going home to the cold. Help me Jesus! My arthritis just can't take it.
