ALABAMA!!

I'm still impatiently waiting for the Bielefelders I ordered to be ready for me to pick up. He said first week in April so I'm not to the point where I'm gonna call and bother him but it's been such a LONG wait!!!

Sometimes things happen last year I waited 6 months for some turkey that I had ordered and they got hit by one tornado after another in Ok. for a week. It nearly wiped them out! I had to wait longer but I did get them.

And my fan burned up in my hatcher and killed a dozed turkey eggs and half of my chicken eggs for the Easter HAL.

Hopefully he will call you soon.

My question now is, I have a 50lb bag of 28% wild game grower feed... Can my chicks eat this or is that high of protein bad for them?

Last time I bought a bag of food I went with the 28% game. This is what the quails really need but I feed it to my hens as well since I don't have enough birds to buy more than 50lbs at a time(takes me at least 6 months to go through a bag). Anyway, chicks are fine on it. Been told it may make them grow faster. But with hens it may make them fat and that would reduce eggs production. But mine doesn't look fat and pretty much still lay an egg a day
