Hey you...I love looking at them too. I'm sure they get tired of me following them around with a camera. :)

I'm moving to Huntsville from Penna and I'm very excited. my hb and I had chickens in Penna and picked our new house making sure we can have byc! we gave our PA chicks to a friends. Moving in September, God willing. What breeds r good for Alabama hot weather? We had Rir, Buff Orphington, and Golden Wyndottes.

I'm not far at all from Huntsville. A lot of breeds seem to do pretty well in this area. You'll love it here! Have a safe trip down!

Haha whatcha got?? We live out in West Limestone

Okay, I know a couple of the breeds..but the babies are mixed. I'll just post photos of the parents so you know the combined breeds.

Here we have one of the dads with a couple of the youngest flock members. The other dad was a beautiful white crested Polish rooster, but we had to rehome him:

Here are two of the mother hens (Ziggy and Honey) with their "babies." Ziggy (the white crested black Polish hen at the bottom of the photo) really just donated the eggs, she's kind of a young pullet and did not find any interest in brooding.

Here are two of the available ones. They're very cute, but there are so many. The young rooster, Trouble, just started crowing.
