ALABAMA!!

SURE, tell us about your self and your flock.
I have 2 flocks
one is my first they are 5 black stars
The other is a flock I just took in one handsome roo and two hens one plays the other is not

I technically live in GA however my phone shows Bama. I guess this happens when you have a bigger farm.
I have lived in Bama before and loved it. I have moved a few times because of being in the army. I moved in November to my forever farm.
I started with chickens because they didn't require me to fix fence in the summer
I have both flocks in a acre and a half fenced "garden" (I tryed) my stars free range in there when I'm out
The others are on week one of four lockdown.

I'm always amazed by how quickly chicks grow and change in the first several weeks of their lives.

And I'm amazed at how much tiny chicks *know* about life already! You always see where folks talk about mama teaching them stuff, but when I get my day olds at the store who have never even seen their mama, they know how to eat, drink, scratch around looking for stuff, run from scary stuff, stay warm, dust bathe, etc. Just after a day or two! Pretty amazing stuff. :)
