Congratulations @Rshumpal! They’re adorable.

My Speckled Sussex pullet is MIA as of this afternoon. I can’t fjnd a trace of her anywhere. She is/was a determined escape artist, so I had a feeling she wouldn’t live to a ripe old age, but she hadn’t even laid her first egg yet! :barnie I suspect a predator nabbed her while she was on her daily self-imposed free range adventure. I can’t find so much as an errant feather, though, so it’s a bit of a mystery. :(

Hopefully she has come home by now.

Hi, We are new to Alabama. Well, I am being a Florida girl but for the hubby it is a homecoming. Any one near the Ozark area have Lavender Orpingtons?

How's everyone doing out here in Alabama? Went from 104 degrees one day in mid-October to 30s pretty fast. Keep the flocks warm!
Yeah, I don’t like the nasty cold and would rather have the heat, preferably not in the same day though. I’m sure my birds deal with the cool weather better than the oppressive heat and humidity, but I seem to worry more about them in the cold. Probably just me though.
