Just caught this. I had two SLW and two Aussies. Poor things were picked on so bad their back were bare and I'm not sure from the roosters either. Finally I just gave them away.

Gotta run,

What a great day! Went to Elkmont today and found 5 20 week old Barred Rock hens. WhooHoo! Just what I wanted. They had quite an interesting discussion before they went into the coop tonight. "You go in first." "Oh no. After you." "No no no; I wouldn't think of it." "Wait a minute. Where does Clara think she's going?" "Let's get in there and reserve our spot for the night." "Ok. You first." "Oh no. After you." "No no no; I wouldn't think of it." "Are you coming, Annabelle?" "No there might be one more bug before lights out." "Don't wait too long, dear." "C'mon, Mable, let's get inside." "Ok, you go first." "Oh no. After you." "No no no; I wouldn't think of it." "I hope Annabelle leaves a few bugs for the rest of us." "Oh look. There goes Sadie into the coop. I hope she doesn't poop on my spot on the roost." "Well let's get in there then." "Ok. You go in first." "Oh no. After you." "No no no; I wouldn't think of it.

It was really pretty funny to watch.

Hailing from Wetumpka Alabama. Not born here but tranplanted from Florida via Illinios. Long story made short - sick of the heat and the winters were too cold.

Hope to meet some new Alabamians on here.

Welcome simplynewt. Not sure where Wetumpka is. I'm a transplant from Massachusetts via NH, Virginia, and Tennessee. But here is where my grandchildren are.
