ALABAMA!!

I have a couple of incredibly friendly BBS Orpington cockerels for sale, looks like 3 blues and a splash.
The splash isn't quite as friendly, still pickup-able and loves to follow people around, just not as pet-able as the blue trio. They are a bunch of puppies at the moment.
They are all out of Bargain's stock originally.
I just wish they weren't roosters!

Gerbil is absolutely correct. Love the girls I got from Gerbil. They truly are like feathery puppies. Unfortunately, the most friendliest pullet I got from Gerbil turn out to be a roo.

However, he has found a new home and his new owner it treating him like a beloved pet dog.

BTW Gerbil, just to let you know I made the mistake of clicker training them to ring the bell hanging from the back door to let me know they want food and the next thing I know they spend the whole day standing by the door ringing the bell.

Needless to say, I no longer have a bell on my door.

Hey, I am right there with you. I have been trying to gather eggs as well and they just ain't in a giving mood. Silkies or standard. Out of 9 standard hens I got ONE egg today. I suppose weather, molt, and hours in the day is affecting them. I've got ordered eggs though and some of my own.

My girls are 4-5 month old now. Waiting for my first egg but been told that cold might delay their egg laying.

Which seem to be the case with all of your chickens.

Thank you!
Sadly, 9 out of 10 of our friendliest turn out to be roosters.
This last batch we hatched are the sweetest things, but out of 5 chicks, we got 1 pullet. Glad you found him a good home!

Aww!
We (accidentally) trained them to wait by our porch door. It was cute the first day, not so much afterwards. :th
And the cold slows our younger Orps down quite a bit, the year old hens are laying fine but this spring's pullets are taking their time!

Yeah! Found 2 eggs in the nest today!

They are pretty small for the size of the chicken. Will they get bigger as the chicken matures?
