Thank you I have read quite a bit about the cornish cross just was wondering if is ok to brood them with some other chicks? Have read any about that. One more thing anybody have any geese hatching eggs? My mom is wanting some geese real bad.

I went to TSC today, of course I had to ask when the chicks are coming in, since I saw the empty pens sitting there, ready to go. The girls said she -thinks- they will get them in next week. I'm sure they are, they were still rearranging the displays around it.

Here's to hoping they'll have some good ones.

I wanted to get the food, waterer, bedding and all that goodness, but dear fiance said I can get that when we get the chicks. Yeeeaaahh. I'm going back tomorrow

I am not gonna set up their brooder when they come home with me, they need to go in and de-stress not be messed with!

I am way too excited. I hope it wont be disappointing....

Exactly. You want everything ready with their heat lamp on to temp and their water at room temp BEFORE they arrive.
