ALABAMA!!

Yeah, they're Wyandottes. Three of our six have that "odd" single comb. Then again we did get them from TSC. Strangely though, I'm pretty sure they're all pullets, even the one that has a rather large comb. Of those with a rose comb, two are very red compared to the others, and their wattles much larger.

TSC birds.. what can I say? My Jersey giants are Australorps, my Australorps are Jersey giants, purchased a week apart, I might add. My 'sex-links' look like a cross between those Wyandottes, a production red and... er.. heck I don't know! My production red seems to have split wings (their wings are pitiful

)

But hey, some of them are really pretty! And some are really nice! And some will hopefully taste good with some pepper and lemon.

I think they'll be fine out, mine went out last month (Did have a heat lamp for a week or two). They seem to have plenty of feathers.

I have to share some piccies. They're getting so big! 8 & 9 weeks old.

This is Baby, she loooooves the be held. She's the smallest of all. She comes running for me to hold her. She's a Jersey giant (sold as Australorp.. but her feet are yellow)

My rooster and his lady, formerly known as Jersey giants, I'm starting to suspect -they're- Australorps

Baby and mystery bird.

Mystery birdies. Supposed sex-link somethings.

Pitiful production red, sold as RIR. Those split wings are just getting worse and worse looking. No pain or discomfort, just weird looking

Wut?

Chicken nap time. They do this several times a day. They go sit on their roost a couple times a day too. Lazy birds.

Yeah all my peeps over a month are outside with a light hanging in the coop they all seem to be doing really well! I think my single comb is a roo. He has no tail feathers to speak of and his comb is awfully bright red. Mine came from.a blue lace red breeder but two were blue lace gold lace cross. the cross is the one with the single comb. Not sure if that has anything to do with it....
