Haha i wish i could transfer some of our ice south but the flow is heading north. Lol it is somewhat of a challenge to keep brooder temperatures consistent so i just go with a hardier breed ( colombian rocks) but sometimes i wish we had a bit of a warmer climate

Early Mother's Day. One of Hennyhandlers Silkie eggs hatched this afternoon and another one has pipped!

Dad is convinced this is our last cold snap. He said something about counting the days it thunders in February and that would be the number of cold snaps you'd have in May. So far he's been right.

I always heard thunder in Feb frost in Apr. HaHa who knows. Nobody but God.

Oh how cute!! I picked up some eggs from her today so hope I get some good news in 21 days.

On a side note. Didn't realize how small silkie eggs are. They are the size of my orp's fart eggs. LOL!!!

Happy Momma's Day to y'all too. I have four silkie chicks hatched. Waiting on two other eggs to pip. Orp this is my second time to get eggs from Hennyhandler, I have been real pleased both times. Hope yours hatch good for you too.
