Hi bobby and
welcome-byc.gif
from Perry Co.

The little guy MIGHT be two weeks old and the girl maybe four weeks. It's hard to tell, these are my first bantams ever.

Hey, I will be runninhg errands this morn. I'll touch base with you soon on their status. It's OK to put the treated water in the feed to make a mush. Hope you can get the girlie chickie to eat/drink. I forgot to mention...see if you have a small syringe, 3cc. Dribble the water on edge of her beak to get it in her. You may want to see them drink/eat every couple hours. Let me know how the other fkocks are doing today, thanks!
PM is fine so we can stay in touch....Chirp

Morning everyone!
Looks like we are going to get a good soaking here this holiday week.

Hopefully the rain will allow a few fireworks on Thursday, to celebrate our Independence. Thanks to all those who serve to keep us free! :celebrate Chirp

Thank you all so much!

I'm interested in getting some fertilized eggs if anyone is near or around east central AL. I've got my bator stabilized and ready. I'm ready for the next learning step with my chickens. Though none of my girls are laying yet.

There is a lady that sell eggs on BYC that might be close enough for you to drive to get eggs. She live in Bowdon, GA. Here user name on BYC is Bargain.

Morning everyone! Hi Chirp!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th!

I ordered 9 turkey poults and 6 welsummer chicks last night! It will be a couple weeks before I get them, but I am very excited! I had a hard time finding the poults! I had pre-paid a feed store for some, then found out they were only getting two breeds and not the ones I wanted! But at least I did find some! So excited! Can hardly wait!!!!

Chicken math has finally hit my hubby...lol. He has decided that we need another, or maybe 2, Amercaunia hen to "replace" (we all know we came replace our special babies) our little Blue girl we lost a few weeks ago. One of our roos has gotten very lonely since she's been gone. So if anyone knows of any blue (or maybe lavender since she was real light grey she may have been considered lavender) Amercaunia hens for sale near the Cullman County area please let me know. Thanks!!!!

:thumbsup You go girl.....I'm starting to wonder about raising turkeys, hmmmm, strictly for the freezer. I guess I need to start reading up on you turkey experts, what breed and what's involved, costs, length of time.....! With DH's gout, turkey and chicken are the main meat choices???? Now, how to get that passed DH?????....since he said No More Building Pens!!!
