ok TSC said these were Dominique pullets not so sure they don't look like any of the pics I've seen what do y'all think?

Tom - Thanks for the link, I have heard good things about them. I will check it out. I had to have the Corid quick so I was stuck buying off the shelf. I looked in the med section for cattle, then the med section for poultry, then the refrigerated med section. I started to leave but decided to ask at the register. The girl looked it up on their website to see if the company carried it then at her inventory (duh!) and said yes, we have two. I asked where I would find it and she didn't know. Another employee walked up and aske.d me a "police question" (I was in uniform) then asked the girl what we were looking for. She said, "Oh I know why you couldn't find it...." as she walked off toward the hardware section. There was a box on the floor with merchandise in it. She dug to the bottom of the box and pulled out two bags of Corid. She said it had been in that box for a week.

mbfarmer - I am not familiar with what Dominique chicks look like, but I wouldn't bet on it based on what they told you...........just sayin'.

I got my package in a few days time, which is still too slow if you do have cocci, but it's good to know. They shipped almost instantly, I think I got it the second day after it shipped. I liked the Deworminator because there's only a 24 hour withdrawal period, but I don't know if it works since well, I didn't see any worms, but at the same time, I'm not sure they had any to begin with.

I also bought a jar of pigeon worm tablets... for the cats. Looking at active ingredients is the way to save money.. anything aimed at cats and dogs is going to cost a ton more than things aimed for other animals

I used to buy the biggest tube of dog flea drops (making sure to get the one that has the same ingredients as the cat version, cats ARE sensitive to certain things) and just use a syringe to measure a dose. I could use one large dog tube for two cats and two Beagles.... stupid thing was that the price per tube was the same, no matter the size.

Anyway, cats are worm free now.. tablets did what they had to do

stupid tape worms..

I hate how companies try to rip pet owners off like that.

Kinda looked like barred rock heck there's a couple that just have bars on the wings and one all black.

Hatchery birds.... they're often not going to look right, even if they're the correct breed.

I don't know closest thing I can find to them is a cuckoo maran. And the one that's all black jury still out on it but it already has a dark red comb so I guess it's a roo. Think I may need one anyway to chase off cats and such.

As Tomtommom said. Hatchery chickens do not always look like what the breed is suppose to look like. My hatchery light brahma looks more like a splash cochin right now. If I ever took it to a show they would laughed me out of the room.

any idea on these little guys color? 2 are some kinda partridges and not sure what the one that's silver is.

There out of a black male and columbian silkies. both partridges in pics.
