Hello everyone! Pleasant Grove, Alabama here!
Easter Eggers, Buff Orps (48, 9wks old), Silkies (28, 5wks old), and some wee little 2 week old Iowa Blues (27). Needless to say, we have to thin the flock out, but I had a free range flock of over 50 RIR and barnyard mixes that dwindled down to one lone surviving hen while I was going through my cancer treatments. So now that all of that is behind me, Daddy built me big coop out in the pasture and I turned my daughter's old swingset into another smaller coop in my backyard have become the crazy chicken lady in my neighborhood. We also have a little donkey and a horse and a bloodhound.

CRAP!!! My little cockerels are starting to crow! I thought they do not usually start until 3-5 months old? Some of them are just reaching 8 weeks. Does Bantam mature faster?
