Hm, TSC here isn't too bad. $17 for 50lbs Layena or Dumor. Hubby works right next to True Value/ACE, may have to check it out.
It's cheaper. Layer was $12-$13. However, protein content is slightly lower Dumors. May not matter for chickens but does for quails.
I get a 22% layer for about $12.50 for 50 lbs. The same store also carries a 16% layer for $10.50 for 50 lbs, if I recall correctly. But that is in the Birmingham area. Layer feed at my local TSC starts around $17. Not sure how far you are willing to travel for your feed, but G&D Farms in Wilmer cold be an option for cheaper feed.Hi, I'm in mobile..
