ALABAMA!!

they were 2 months when I got them. i got them from a feed and seed and was told they were hens. I have one little one who is maybe a month old and am hoping maybe I have at least one hen. This is the baby she is a few days older then when the picture was taken but the comb isn't any bigger and her tail feathers point down not up like the boys. The baby still has allot of down and is allot younger.

So I will call Stella George and Dora Frank for now

Depending on how old this one was, leaning more toward pullet with this one.

I have 1 blue andulsia, 1 white Marian, 4 red sex links, 1 Americana and I got some new ones yesterday but don't remember what they are

Hey! Cut the heat down on that fried egg, bubbles in the white are a no-no! Unless, of course, you like the white crispy and the yolk solid.

I prefer my white smooth with just a bit of crisp on the edge and the yolk runny with a biscuit to sop in it.

I have no idea how old this one is. But I am so in love with that little face. Since the others are roos I am hoping this one is a hen so I can keep 2!! I don't have the heart to get rid of this little baby. Thanks for the info

I'm three days behind on my reading and catching up on BYC, but I just had to share this! This is what I came home to after my three day vacation, MY FIRST EVER FIVE EGGS! Of course they wait till I'm home to start laying! I'm such a proud chicken mama!

They're next to a white store bought egg for color comparison, yay!
