Yes, that rain is awful! To think I was on the beach in Pensacola on Sunday (red flag, but nice enough, who the heck wants to swim in January!) My poor dogs... I'm gonna have to build a roof over their food. It's been soup for 3 days now.

Yeah, my chickens have started to think they are ducks. I swore I heard a cluck and saw them floating in the puddles.

I have eggs in the incubator.....hoping to have some new babies to play with around the 23rd. Also introducing chicken raising to my friend who is so excited....has her hubby building her coop. She'll be hooked forever!

My ducks are LOVING this weather. They're outside all day. I'm a little concerned that they'll find the creek on the edge of the property and get swept away since it's about 2' above it's normal level. I am looking forward to snow tomorrow though.

Honest mistake, Bama Chicks! I thought you may have left an egg in your pocket...that's what I say when I do that (the count is now five times I have had to clean raw egg out of a coat pocket.)
