I think we have figured it out. We are going to build a coop and divide it with a wall so that the roos have one side and the hens have the other side. and we are going to make a run off of each side for them. And we are going to either do a small room in the coop or a small run for us to breed them in. It will probably make breeding a little more difficult at first but I think we can manage it. That way I can keep the lines and the eggs straight. So that I can sell them later on. Wish us luck!
 
Good luck! I am finishing up some add ons to buildings and metal roofing put on. I can say this. THERE WILL BE NO MORE PROJECTS! NONE! Now, later when I say I was thinking about doing this or that PLEASE refer me to this post. LOL!

Maybe if I write it down it will make it happen. Then again, I said this I don't know how many times and then I find myself out there working on pens.

I wish I could say no more projects, but we are remodeling our house, have a shop that needs to be built, and the chicken coop.... Think we will be busy for a while, but sure glad the weather has warmed up so I can get outside and work.
 
Wow! You really do have a lot going on. I am glad the weather is better too. Nothing worse then getting out there to work and you can't cause you are so bundled up.
 
I told my husband that he should add a few more nesting boxes just so if we decide to add more chicks later on we won't have to add on. I tried to explain chicken math to him, he does not get it. lol Good luck with your projects! And there always winds up being another project as something always pops up needing to be fixed or added on. lol
