I'm with you on that request. I'm on the Gulf Coast. I'll let you know if I find anything too.Have you tried the Farmer's co-op in your area? I know the one here will get special orders, but only if you ask.

Welcome from N. Jefferson Co. to BYC and the Al forum. Here we are in Wetumpka. We are just getting started with our chicken adventure. My wife and I are both retired, but like to keep active soooo, I'm building a coop. Hopefully we will have it finished in a couple weeks and then get some chickens to put in it. I will put pictures of it when I get a little further along.
Congratulations on your retirement! What a fun adventure you have decided to pursue! Lots of learning and laughs await you on BYC. Greetings from Fairhope, AL (Gulf Coast). Here we are in Wetumpka. Hi DixieChicken 78! Glad you've joined the BYC crew. Great bunch of folks here who love their chickens and enjoy sharing their knowledge with you! You might want to check out the "Foghorn, leghorn thread" for important info regarding protection of your chickens from hawks, coon, etc. So much good information to learn on BYC.Just want to ask a quick question. Rain is OK for my 5-6 week olds to be out in? We have their coop open so they have access to shelter. Probably just being overly protective. TIA.![]()
