I could also help you out with incubating - I've incubated chicken, duck, goose, quail, and guinea and had only one unsuccessful hatch because of a power outage. But thanks and good luck!

Hi everyone!!! I was wondering if anyone had any turkey's to sell. I am wanting to raise one for thanksgiving, as long as I don't get to attached. lol I do have some porcelain bearded D'uccle hens I would like to trade toward a turkey or just sale. If anyone is interested let me know.

Hey, guys, I would normally help y'all out, but I lost my two good roosters to a coyote in May. I have two new Roos but have not checked fertility in my eggs yet. If you just can't find anything else, I will send you some for the cost of shipping. They will be mixed, as all mine are free range at the moment. In the meantime, take a look at The Great Egg Shipping Experiment thread for info and tips on shipping and hatching shipped eggs. There are also pics of my eggs and chicks from my old roosters.

Since we are new to chickens (ours are just old enough to lay now), I have wondered about turkeys. I have heard not so pleasant experiences in raising them. Anyone have good things to say about raising a turkey or two?
 
Is anyone interested in RIR roosters? We have 2 too many and would like to trade for pullets (old enough to be outside). Thanks!

bbdal I have turkey and I love them! They are so sweet and they love attention! I have one that still at 5 months old thinks she should still be able to perch on my shoulder! But lands on my back every time I bend over to pet the chickens.
