So, this was on the news last night (I missed it and had to look it up). The guy is reporting from the feed store we buy our feed from and sell our chickens to. If you watch, you'll see a free roaming white hen. That's the hen that was attacked by roaming dogs months ago and I had a hard time with in the first few days of bandaging her. We sold her along with the rest of our game birds and she escaped at the feed store. I can't believe she's on TV!

Wow, kinda sad for those who want to raise chickens too. Hope she makes out OK.

Everything's good here. I haven't left yet. Not until next week when Blu's brother comes to get me. Not much in the way for plans really. I've been working on getting our stuff together and I think the last thing I'll do is take the crib apart. (not using it right now due to the possiblity of CPS showing back up.)

I was given a clean bill of health today.

I'm so glad that everything is working out like it should.

I'm up to 5 eggs a day now.. some of my girls are still figuring the laying thing out. We've had several double yolkers already. We went to North Carolina for the weekend and brought a box of eggs for the hostess, she was thrilled, especially when she got two double yolkers in her box of 18

My white rocks are laying almost daily!

Does CPS know you are moving to FL? Just asking because I'd hate for you to have an open case and they think you've fled. . I'm in child protective services in FL so when I saw this I wanted to make sure your case is closed there or you've communicated with them so there are no issues when you move. . Best wishes on the move.
