Love the crow but I don't live in the city! My hunt camp is in tallassee. And I go to the Millbrook chicken auction every other Saturday wife doesn't like to go so I go when she works.

Where'd you get the eggs from? I know you said a farmer's market, I think? If it's Frankies market down the road from you, I have hatched those eggs before

I didn't get it from Frankie. I got it from a lady in Alabaster that was selling eggs.
Here is a pic of the chicks. I think the other eggs left are no good. Something is beginning to smell in the bator.

I like the crow, after a certain time of day. 6am I can handle.. I had one that would crow day and night.. OMG. I ate him.

I'm just not risking another one.. I don't want the neighbors to call the city again. There's no real rule against roosters, just noise.. the question is: How much is too much? I don't want to find out.
