ALABAMA!!

My girls don't do tomato worms either, but they LOVE their millipeads and my roo loves the water roaches that climbs the tree by their coop. If he sees one he hollers right by the door until I let him out if it's closed.

I think there is something mentally wrong with my chickens. I found a caterpillar on my pepper plant yesterday so I removed it off the plant and put it in their chicken food bowl thinking it will make a good treat for them. But "NO" they looked at it and then look at me as if they were saying "I can't believe you threw that in our food bowl". Needless to say, the chicken stay away from the caterpillar and it walked out of the bowl and out of the chicken pen untouched.

Mine wont eat ants.. but they love spiders and spider eggs. Slugs they're pretty iffy about too, but they love any sort of caterpillar or worm.

Could the same chicken lay these two eggs? I only know of one of my young pullets laying but she started out with beautiful dark brown eggs. The past two days I have found soft shell eggs and now this.
