ALABAMA!!

Quote: Apparently. I've gotten a really good laugh out of talking to them. They like to lie a lot. That's for sure.

I created a FB page dedicated to how horrible a person I am. I plan to share pics of all the animals I've saved over the past few years. Oh and the emails. I'm having too much fun with this.
We need a link for that!

Got my babies Tuesday! Hatched on Monday and made it on Tuesday! I've got an assortment and I know I have a RIR, possible Leghorn, Buff Orpington, maybe a black. The yellow and black ones look like skunks so I don't have any idea on them. They are already jumping off things and trying to fly. Too cute!

My wife and i just left the indoor Flea Market in Moody off rt 411 at I 20. There were 2- 10 hołe galvenized neating boxes. They are both needing the bottoms and perches repaired. Price was $50 for the pair. I don't have a place to store them at the time. So if any of you are looking for a deal.

Razadia- Can't believe someone turn you in. Are the wildlife people going to a least pick those babies up?

Maybaby45- Chick are adorable!! Congrats on your additions

Day 5. This is my favorite stage of development. Love seeing all those veins in the eggs and the alien like creature pulsating inside it. I think it's the coolest thing.
:love.

Orps,
Is that 1 of the Duck Eggs? I hope you get some of those Khaki Campbell's to hatch.
Are the Quail eggs developing too or can you not see through those shells?
How's the Silkie eggs and the project birds developing?

Jayare

So far only 1 of the duck egg is developing. Four of the 5 quails are developing. All but 5 chicken eggs are developing. However when I check the nest this morning. The hen was eating one of the eggs and got yoke all over some of the eggs. Not sure what is going on with that. Maybe it's because I disturb the nest to candle the eggs. Hopefully they will not do that again.

I finally come across some chicks at a feed store real close to my place of employment. I ended up with three RIRs and three Ameraucanas (even though I read where those aren't really Ameraucanas). I'll try to get some pics up tonight or tomorrow.
