You'd thunk i had been drinking. Feeding my hens this morning, left the coop open. At least enough my one n only Aracuna escaped. Last seen headed thru the trees. She was always a loner, so it maybe difficult capturing her again.

She will likely be back at the coop around 7:45-8:00 this evening. Ours would fly over the run fence several times a week. Trying to catch them just caused them to run farther away.

That is what i told myself this morning. Was kind of worried the 4 legged security team would run her down or away. Anyways i went to bed ( i worked a 12 overnight) about1:30 i heard her calling the "team" in. She said the hen was at the coop looking to get back in. She thru some meal worms to the others and walked her back in the opened door. I'd like to let them free range- the neighbor lets his rooster free range. I don't want to be hatching eggs or hunting them down. Anyways the sun shined on the hill this afternoon, the birds look happy, the goats are fat and sassy. Eating fried okra from the garden, so i guess i am too.

I thought I had 3 Buckeye cockerels after I gave the birds to Raz. Well today I just realized that one of the cockerels is a pullet. lol
