The past couple months have been horrible. Blu lost his job and 2 weeks later I sold off nearly half my flock. At this point, I've sold OVER half my flock. The silkies just went the other day.

After wanting them for so long and finally getting them. I've only had them since January. Sadly, they were the only ones I was comfortable selling. Nothing is left from my order last year. The city came down on my feed store and they can't buy and sell adult fowl. So they've stopped buying period. I've had to deal with the public and it has been awful. But, I've done what I had to. If I can't feed them, I shouldn't keep them.

Now, if only I could get someone to take this Marans roo, I might have more stress taken off me. I'm pulling what's left of my flock into one pen and I don't like the idea of isolating him until someone suddenly decides they want him. It's the only reason I haven't moved my hens into the big pen with Blizzard.

Im So sorry your having a hard time. I had to do the same thing a couple years ago after going through a divorce. I could barely pay for me and daughter to live. Now I regret it so bad. I had many good quality Silkies. But when the time is right start back up. Goodluck dear I hope it all turns around for you.

Why did the city stop the feed store from buying?
If you are npip it shouldnt matter.

I've locked down 29 bantam mixes and 7 EEs. The bantams are a combo of frizzle/Cochin and some bard bantams These are from my last hatch.
