BamaBowdens Have you processed any for the meat? I am curious if they taste any different than the flesh colored chickens.

No; just started my first flock earlier this year. Bought some Silkies to add a few to my flock and not interested in keeping all of them. Will raise them if I can't find a home for them. Maybe ready to process by this time next year.

I've eaten silkies before. They have a stronger chicken taste and that is why they are prized in a lot of Asian countries.
