Is anyone raising coronation sussex?

They are beautiful birds, but out of my price range! I have light sussex and really like them.

I soon will be a have a 4-6 week old pair of coronations they should be here late Febuary. I cant wait also cant believe I paid so much for them. Is there anyone here know of any poultry assoc. clubs, swaps .... in south Alabama near Mobile?

Hi everyone I'm in Citronelle, Alabama but sorry don't know much yet about chickens. I get 10 eggs a day. To tell you how much I know there was a hen in my chicken coop she wouldn't get off the nest so I was going to reach in and see if she was ok and if she had any eggs. I won't do that again lol. I'm just going to let her sit and see what happens.

I don't have any pullets but I have too many roosters if anybody wants a few I would be more then glad to give them some. I live in citronelle, Alabama thats right outside of mobile. I've been retired from the Army for 10 years now. Have 5 boys 1 in Navy, 1 in coast guard and 2 in army. Couldn't stop them they said it was a good life for me and they wanted to follow in Dad's foot steps. 2 just came back from Iraq and every day I wished that I could take there place.
