Hey guys and gals,
Wondering if anyone knows of any poultry show coming up in al, ga, or ms? I've never been to one, and would sure like to find one close by.

Well busy day here, went to the Montgomery zoo with GC's and boy are we tired. Had a great time. Have to say we went out for ice cream last night but no eat in places, so it was cold sitting outside at Brusters.

Well the zoo was great and it didn't seem to tire the GC's out enough. It's 7;20 and I'm ready for bed. I'm so old.

Was supposed to go to an auction. The tri county auction? Anyone been? Couldn't bring back any live birds anyhow, but up in Syracuse you might score some hatching eggs. Do they auction off eggs here too? I don't need anything as I'm heavy into Delawares but I've got friends up there and I like to bring them something.

Course I may not go back. The temps are in the 30's. Lord have mercy!

Have plans for a pic nic tomorrow. DW is making chickens salad. Yum!

Yep, I had found that one online, I am definitely not interested in bantams.
 
I'm going to be looking to buy some laying hens in Birmingham in about three weeks. If anyone has any birds they wouldn't mind selling let me know what you have.
 
Well there is the show in Clanton. Apri 16th I think and I plan to come down for it.

I'll most likely bring hatching eggs but no birds, but I'll post before I do.

Would like to come to fairhope but DW is in charge for the rest of the trip since she let me spend time with "allaboutdemchick" for the afternoon and talk chicken. She's not into chickens but tolerates my hobby. She's into girly stuff like sewing and smocking. I will mention it to her though.
