Does anyone in Alabama have a silkie for sale? Like a point of lay or hen? I have searched and searched and keep coming up empty.

Hi everyone! I'm from Montgomery County.

My chickens: Right now I have 1 pure Johnny Jumper roo and 4 Jumper/ white Mexican game hens.

I also have 9 chicks that surprised us because we didn't think it was time to hatch yet. 2 of my hens are sharing the 9 chicks. XD They hatched them in the same nest with no problems and my hens are known for being rather violent towards each other.

I may also have twin chicks, but I don't quite know yet.

I just sold my last Silkie that was available. If you don't find one soon check with me a few times during Spring and fall. We also offer hatching eggs. My silkies are molting right now and not laying at this time, but a couple of them are starting to again so it should not be long. Here are some of our Breeders

I have an Ee roo I would like to find a home for. He is free to a good home. He is about a year old. He is very pretty and healthy.

Anyone here going to the Clanton show next saturday. I've got a friend looking for silky hatching eggs. PM me and let me know what you've got and how much. Anyone got anything else let me know and I'll check to see if she's interested.

Me I just do Delawares mainly. I do keep a few other breeds for the variety and family (silky's).

Claudia if your read this know the three I got from your eggs aren't going anywhere and I've had offers. In fact she was just here and drooling over them saying how nice they were and they're just chicks. Getting ready to build them there own coop and all that stuff.
She also said the blue orp was nice too. She keeps saying "you should show". Ain't happening. Of course they will be spoiled and dotted over by my DD.

Anyhow if anyone is going to be there and has hatching eggs to sell let me know. I might have buyers up here. I would like some rosecomb RIR's though.

I haven't any del egg though. Claudia didn't want them and I have a buyer up here for chicks, so they're in the incubator. I don't hatch junk chicks so that limits what I do hatch or should I say eggs from junk hens.

Evermore very nice birds for silkies. Trylin would like them.

Yes, you know me well...I would like them and yes...I will admit to drooling over those three silkies you've hatched from Claudia. Claudia, you don't know me, but you've got an admirer of your silkies in upstate NY and if you feel like parting with some eggs, I'm prepared to pay! Or rather Mr. Tim is gonna pay if he doesn't come back with some!

LOL JK, what would I do without my partner in chicken crime! We've coops to build, chicks to hatch and shows to conquer! LOL
